Protein Smoothie
This protein smoothie is a raw food recipe that is great for breakfast but can be eaten at any time of the day. 1 large banana half avocado 3-4 strawberries 1 tablespoon cacao nibs handful cashews 1 teaspoon lucuma powder 1 teaspoon mesquite powder 1 teaspoon hemp protein powder pinch sea salt half cup (125mls) coconut milk 1 cup (250mls) filtered water 1 medjool date

If you can get fresh coconut milk that is great. I use Dr Martins coco milk. Vary the number of dates depending on how sweet you prefer it. More cacao nibs can be added for a more chocolaty taste.- Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- If too thick, add more water in small amounts until you get your preferred consistency. You can make it thin enough to drink.
