I have been looking around for food combining books especially those with good colour illustrations. There is a lot of agreement between the books about the theory of food combining but there is some contradiction about foods that are alkilising and, for example, which fruit can be eaten with starch or protein foods.
I only ever eat fruit on their own and I eat only one type of fruit at a time so it doesn't matter to me whether a fruit is a starch fruit.
As far as alkalising foods are concerned, I believe that all fruit, vegetables and sprouts are alkalising. In the end you have to use your discretion and do what feels right for you.
